Raise your hand if you’ve dealt with one injury or another the last 12 months. Injuries are so common in fact that no runner is surprised. In fact, some of us wear them like a badge of honor that means we are “serious” and “pushing ourselves.”
Sometimes this is the case when we’re putting a lot on the line, and we’re aware of the risks we’re taking. But too often we runners seemingly stumble our way into avoidable situations because we aren’t focusing on the right things.
